Here are a few practical ways to get your setup ready for the holiday period.
Holiday Hours
If your store hours change over summer or for public holidays, now is a good time to schedule those updates.
- Go to store settings
- Open your opening hours
- Review upcoming holidays
- Click Set Hours on the holiday prompt, or create a New Event
- Enter the updated hours or mark the store as closed
- Click Update to confirm
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers by Appropo integrates with OneTap POS and gives customers an easy way to purchase gift vouchers online.
Gift vouchers can help generate cash flow and bring customers back during the holiday season.
NOTE
You can also run a bonus credit campaign during December, for example Buy a $100 Gift Voucher and receive $110 in credit.
Order at Table
Order at Table helps reduce front-of-house pressure by letting customers browse, order, and prepay from their table.
It also gives customers more time to explore the menu, which can support stronger upsell conversion.
Guest Checkout
Guest checkout lets new customers place an order quickly without creating an account first.
To enable it, make sure Only Prepay is enabled for pickup, delivery, catering, or Order at Table, then enable Guest Checkout in the main Ordering Settings.
