Future Orders

Future orders allow customers to place an order in advance for a later date or time.

How It Works

1. The customer selects a future date and time during checkout
2. The order is placed and payment is taken immediately
3. The order appears in the Upcoming Orders section of the dashboard
4. When the order’s prepare time is reached, it moves to the Live Orders view

Configuration

Future ordering is available on Pickup, Delivery, and Catering checkouts.

• How far in advance — Control how many days ahead customers can order
• Time slots — Orders are placed into time slots based on your store’s opening hours and wait times

Catering

Catering checkouts are designed specifically for future orders, requiring a minimum lead time to give your kitchen time to prepare larger orders.
